Last night I got involved in an adventure, so I had little time for sleep; as for the nature of the adventure in question, I hope it will be told later by the student himself. Wait and read)))
We have discovered a huge Tesco supermarket 10 minutes walk from the residence - which should solve the catering problem.
In the afternoon we all got together:
We decided to look for our school. The venture has proved quite successful: we bought the maps and the plug adapters, found both school buildings. We have also come across some of the sights:
Ask you children to tell you what it is ;)
Another thing we witnessed was a kind of demonstration:
It consisted of about 20 people carrying posters and saying some slogans through a mouthpiece. They were protesting against some injustice - but I'm sorry to say we didn't quite get which one. The amazing thing was that they were going slowly in the centre of a busy motorway in the crowded city centre with all the traffic following at their pace without any signs of impatience - and nobody seemed to object to the traffic jam they had created. Another interesting detail was that on the reverse side of their posters they had written something like: "Sorry for the inconvenience we are causing by our action!" - for the drivers to read.

Все, насколько я могу судить, живы и в порядке: тех, кто в общежитии+ Колю Бумбака я видела лично, с кем-то еще мы списались по почте. Всех абсолютно увижу завтра утром и у каждого узнаю, как дела, потом отчитаюсь))) всем спасибо за внимание, особенно папе Насти Демичевой: я уже 3 раза пыталась в комментариях ему ответить, но как только возьмусь - кто-то из студентов приходит с вопросами или просьбой))))
